This Privacy Policy describes how Coach Platform LLC ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with our mobile applications, including PoolCoach, AutoCoach, and any future apps published under the Coach Platform LLC brand.
By using any Coach Platform LLC application, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect and Store
All data you enter directly in our apps — including pool chemistry readings, vehicle details, mileage, service history, fuel logs, and preferences — is stored exclusively on your device using local device storage. This data is never transmitted to our servers unless you use a photo-scanning feature described below.
We do not operate any servers that store or retain this device data, and we have no database of user account information.
AutoCoach photo scanning: AutoCoach includes optional features to scan a VIN, odometer, or fuel receipt using your camera. When you use one of these features, the photo you take is sent securely to our server, which uses a third-party AI service (Anthropic) to read the relevant text or numbers from the image. The extracted result is returned to your device to auto-fill the form. The photo itself is processed on-the-fly and is not stored on our servers, retained afterward, or used for any purpose beyond completing that single scan.
Photos you optionally attach to a saved document (such as an insurance card or maintenance receipt) in AutoCoach's Vehicle Documents feature are stored locally on your device, the same as your other app data — they are not uploaded to our servers.
Payment Information
All subscription payments for our apps are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Coach Platform LLC never sees, stores, processes, or has access to your credit card number, debit card number, bank account information, or any other payment details.
To manage, modify, or cancel a PoolCoach or AutoCoach subscription:
On iPhone: Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions → select the app
On Android: Google Play Store → Account → Subscriptions → select the app
Subscription billing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by Apple's and Google's terms of service, not by Coach Platform LLC.
Affiliate Links & Third-Party Retailers
Our apps contain links to third-party retailers. PoolCoach links to retailers including Amazon, Pool Splash, and Doheny's Pool Supply. AutoCoach links to retailers including Advance Auto Parts, AutoZone, Tire Rack, SimpleTire, Mavis Tires, Valvoline, Safelite, Chemical Guys, Edmunds, and Upside. When you tap a buy button and make a purchase through one of these links, Coach Platform LLC may earn a small affiliate commission at no additional cost to you.
When you click an affiliate link and visit a third-party retailer's website or app, that retailer's own privacy policy governs the collection and use of your information. Coach Platform LLC is not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party retailer.
Our affiliate disclosure is displayed within the app wherever affiliate links appear.
Analytics
Coach Platform LLC does not use any third-party analytics services within our applications. We do not track, monitor, or analyze your usage of the app through tools such as Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, or similar platforms.
Children's Privacy
Our apps are not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information through one of our apps, please contact us at the address below and we will take steps to delete such information.
Third-Party Services
Our apps may include links to third-party services for professional referrals — PoolCoach links to Angi and Thumbtack for pool service; AutoCoach links to AAA and RepairPal for vehicle service. Coach Platform LLC is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of service of any third-party platform.
